Audience Response Systems and Audience Voting Systems need to have simple clear audience survey questions to yield accurate data.

Audience Response Results Graph: Skewed Distribution
A moderate degree of agreement exists when the results graph forms a skewed distribution.   The columns to one side or the other are the tallest with a rapid fall off to the opposite side, forming a wedge.

The steeper the angle, the more agreement you have.  Like the bell curve, this interpretation is especially valid when the scale is based on a general continuum.
Again, like the bell curve, the presenter should focus on the extent of agreement.  A comment such as: "this tells me that the majority of us are in agreement on this, but perhaps with some reservation" is suggested.
If you would like to drill deeper into the issue, cut the data by demographic groups.  Assuming you have two or three demographic type questions, you can filter this data by each demographic, looking for clues.  You may find that a certain group demonstrates a high level of agreement, whereas another does not.
The third type of graphical pattern is the 'bimodal distribution'.
